DESCRIPTION: In 2005, a private Cord Blood bank based in Charleston, named CureSource, had a partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina “to facilitate the transfer of technology into commercial applications”. CureSource provided MUSC with donated Cord Blood to be used for research. In 2007, the partnership ended, and later that year CureSource was acquired by Cord Blood America. It is unknown to this web manager if MUSC is still collecting donations
