NJ - New Jersey State Accreditation
All the umbilical Cord Blood banks should meet the New Jersey State requirements if they are established or operates within the New Jersey State. The umbilical Cord Blood bank should also meet such requirements and testing if it accepts or releases the collection of the Cord Blood within the state. The rules are established in order to have secure transactions of the umbilical cord blood between the donor and the receiver.

Accreditation required: Blood bank license
- For every permanent location of the umbilical cord blood bank, they require a separate blood bank license.
- The license is to be renewed every year.
- The umbilical cord blood bank should meet the quality systems requirements.
- The bank should be ever ready for the state inspection. However, there is no mandatory timeline is inflicted.
- The umbilical cord blood bank should meet some testing requirements that are set in order to rule out any infectious disease.
- The bank should meet state specific requirements for personnel
