Stembanc refuses to reveal any details concerning their laboratory. Even their sales force has not seen it. It has not been inspected by any accrediting agency.
Stembanc marketing is based predominantly on their possession of a PharmaStem patent license. These patents are no longer valid.
As of April 2004, Stembanc offers Clinical Sales Managers (CSM) a Staff Referral Program, in which the senior CSM will receive a $100 bonus for each expectant parent enrollment credited to a newer sales manager that was recruited by the senior CSM.
Participating physicians directly receive $200 per unit of Cord Blood collected and are covered by $3 million liability insurance.
Courier transport with AirNet is available for a flat fee of $150 extra.
First year storage included in processing fees. Prepay storage for 20 years at a 50% discount.
